MAVEN

College students are always seeking tutors and mentors; either to help them with homework, impeding projects, or for general guidance. However, with crazy schedules and overwhelming resources, most students don't know where to look for their tutor/mentor and if it's worth the effort. Maven is a mobile platform that eliminates this problem:

 

Maven matches college students seeking tutors and mentors with mentors in the student's vicinity. The student simply downloads the app, fills out their personal and academic profile expressing what they need help with, and are matched with mentors or tutors near the student who are available to help.

Both SCALE and Maven are still in their developmental stages. However,  we have been working on collaborating and we will be presenting our use case diagrams and strategy projections at the BUild Lab Innovation Center's Pitch and Pizza Events along with Maven's logo that I designed, which is featured above.
